The Visionary Behind Mallamagart
Originally from Norway, I moved to England to study Illustration at Falmouth University, graduating in 2006. I later returned to Norway, where I shared my passion for art by teaching at Kunst & Design College and running creative art courses for younger children.
In 2013, I graduated with a Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. Soon after, I signed with independent publisher Fisherton Press, and my debut picture book, The Class, written by Eleanor Levenson, was published in 2015.
Since then, I have illustrated Into The Arctic, written by Matthew Kenneth Long and published by Starfish Bay Publishing, where I also worked as an Art Director for three years.
I now live and work in Cambridge, continuing to explore my love of illustration and picture books. I’m excited to see where my creative journey takes me next.
